Dates Milkshake

Dates milkshake where goodness of milk is enhanced by sweetness of the dates and has made milk more delicious along with making it naturally healthy and appealing. Milk as we all know is an excellent source of protein and calcium. Dates are a good source of iron.

Almonds will increase the vitamin E content of the beverage. This recipe serves excellent along with the morning breakfast. Children hate drinking milk and for mothers, it becomes one of the most challenging things to make them finish the entire glass. They would always demand for some kind of “health drink” to make it flavored and mask the smell and flavor of it.

Ingredients

Quantity

Milk

2 cups

Dates

6 no’s chopped

Nutella /Boost chocolate flavor

1 tbsp or less

Almond powder

2 tbsp.

Ice cubes

4-5 no’s

 

Method
1. Before you eat whole raw dates, make sure to wash them properly. This is because dust easily gets stuck on the fleshy part of dates. 

2. Deseed the dates and keep aside. Soften the dates with hot milk for an hour. Take a blender add seedless dates ,bounvita flavour, almond powder.

3. Blend it nicely along with milk using hand blender or mixer. Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for a minute until you get a smooth and creamy texture.

4. Top with the remaining milk and blend again. Taste the smoothie, add more milk if it is too thick.

e. Serve Chilled Topped with almond powder. Serve warm or cold.
