Method
Wash the guavas well. Now chop them into thin triangles
and transfer to a bowl.
Add
these chopped pieces to a mixing bowl.
Add chat masala along with the pepper powder.
Add everything according to the measurements given and
mix well. Do not worry if a few of the pieces mush up.
Squeeze juice from limes into mixture and add some some salt.Given a gentle toss.
Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for a few
hours the flavors to intensify until chilled.
Serve as chaat at tea-time. Guava
chat is ready to serve!
Serving suggestions
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Cut the fruits, cover with a foil or plastic sheet and
keep in refrigerator for an hour if you make chaat in summers.
Add spices just
before you serve, otherwise fruits will leave their juices.
