Pink Guava Masala Chaat

Refreshingly delicious, healthy and easy to make! This is an Indian-style sweet and savory snack that is super easy to prepare. Fresh Fruit Chaat can be enjoyed right away or chilled and eaten later. Raw fruits help in detoxifying the body, apart from being full of nutrition. So chaat dishes are mouthwatering and spicy so that you will feel like licking your fingers. Ingredients
  • Fresh pink guava -2 pieces
  • Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Roasted jeera powder –  ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
  • Chat masala – ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tsp



Method
Wash the guavas well. Now chop them into thin triangles and transfer to a bowl. 
Add these chopped pieces to a mixing bowl. 

Add chat masala along with the pepper powder.

Add everything according to the measurements given and mix well. Do not worry if a few of the pieces mush up. 

Squeeze juice from limes into mixture and add some some salt.Given a gentle toss.

Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for a few hours the flavors to intensify until chilled. 

Serve as chaat at tea-time. Guava chat is ready to serve!

Serving suggestions
Serve chilled or at room temperature. 
Notes
Cut the fruits, cover with a foil or plastic sheet and keep in refrigerator for an hour if you make chaat in summers.
Add spices just before you serve, otherwise fruits will leave their juices.
