Recipe type: Drinks
Cuisine: Indian

Ingredients
  • Pomegranate Seeds -5 cups
  • Mint leaves –few sprigs
  • Ice cubes –few
  • Lemon -1 no
  • Water -1 cup
  • Sugar -1/4 cup
  • Roasted Jeera powder -3 tsp

Method
1. Cut the pomegranate into quarters. Remove the seeds from the pomegranate. Squeeze the juice from half lemon.
2. Place the remaining pomegranate seeds into a food processor and mix until smooth. Add lemon juice, sugar, water, roasted Jeera Powder into a blender and blend well
3. Place a sieve over a small bowl and slowly pour the pomegranate mixture into the sieve (so that the pomegranate juice collects in the bowl). You may need to use the back of a spoon to push the pomegranate pulp against the sieve to get as much juice as you can.
4. Add ice cubes and fill with sparkling mineral water. Garnish with a sprig of mint & serve chilled. 5. Pomegranate Mint Cooler is now ready to serve.

Notes

Even 1/2 cup lemon is enough for the cooler. Try adjusting the lemon flavor.
Honey can be substituted for sugar to make it even healthier.
Tastes best when served chill.
