Muskmelon Lassi


Muskmelon or Cantaloupe melon is rich in beta-carotene and assorted antioxidants.  Foods that can reduce the heat in body are superfoods in summers.Muskmelon is one of the most loved and cultivated fruits of India. The aromatic, refreshingly rich flavor of muskmelon along with curd is a combination like none other. 
The best part is that for the calorie conscious this is probably the best drink for summers These are antioxidant rich and may help fight infection and protect against damage from free radicals. They are a great choice for weight watchers too as they are extremely low in calories. It is a perfect blend of healthy ingredients that not just tastes amazing but also quenches thirst in summers to keep you going!

Ingredients
  • Muskmelon- 1 medium size( 4.5 cups)
  • Fresh Curd - 1/2 cup 
  • Honey / Sugar – 3 tbsp.
  • Ice cubes – ¼ cup
  • Water – if needed (optional)


 Method

1. Cut the Muskmelon skin. remove the seeds and scoop out the flesh.



2. In a blender, place muskmelon and give a pulse.



3. Now add yogurt, and honey or sugar.



4. Blend on high speed until smooth. 



5. Add more ice cubes & serve immediately.



6. Pour fresh Muskmelon lassie in a serving glass.



Notes


  • You can add coconut milk, almond milk, nuts or saffron.
  • Good for immune system too.
