Basil Soup

Very good health drink when you are suffering from cold and cough.In India, the basil (known as Tulsi) is widely used and several myths have grown out of its use both, as a medicinal herb and for religious purposes.

Basil leaves is known as a king of all herbs and is one of the oldest and popular herbal plant that belong to the species of a small mint plant which contain several tiny oil glands with aromatic properties as well as medicinal values which could treat innumerable illness and diseases. Basil leaves also has significant antioxidant properties that could help fight free radicals that could damage cells leading to various illness and diseases. or either of them.

Method

 

1. Keep the Basil leaves in a bowl, add pepper powder and salt.Boil for about 10-15 minutes by closing the lid.

 

2. Add ginger to the basil water.Cool and strain the water.Consume it very hot for best results.

 

Notes

 

This soup works really very well to avoid seasonal cough and cold.
