Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranate juice is made from the fruit of the pomegranate. It is used in cooking both as a fresh juice and the seeds are dried and powdered and can be used for some curries .Pomegranate seed powder is called as Anardana  powder.It is very good for pregnancy and deals with vitamins A, C and E, folic acid, and potassium. It has lot of vital nutrients and prepares your body for hectic day ahead. Serve it in limited amount to infants and growing kids.Check out some other Drinks varieties

Cut into two halves and seed the pomegranate. Grind pomegranate seeds with 1/2 cup water in a mixer.Take small size bowl, strain pulp through sieve and extract juice. Press pulp using spoon to extract more juice.Stir in the sugar and lemon juice. Stir well until sugar dissolves completely. Place one or two ice cubes in each serving glasses and pour the juice over the cubes. Enjoy your Healthy juice which is ready to serve.


Do not discard the remains of pomegranate pulp and seeds, they rich in dietary fibers. Mix some salt and sugar and enjoy it alone. Alternatively, do not strain it at all. Just enjoy it as chewy pomegranate juice.
