Mommy Blogger Meet up for this Children’s Day at California Pizza Kitch

California Pizza Kitchen was not just about pizzas. It offers a distinct array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas. The Kitchen Manager was very kind and good.As soon as I entered my eyes lit up to see the huge wood fired oven and could not take my eyes off from that. Pizza Kitchen has won legions of food experts for its innovative, fresh, great tasting pizzas & unparalleled experience.

It’s well-known for its innovative recipes, traditional flavors to create an unforgettable & wholesome culinary experience. It’s perfect for its unique and fusion foods with lovely ambience. CPK in Indiranagar, Bangalore is centrally located on 100ft road. The decor has been kept simple to suit the theme.

The dining hall is large and is filled with a lot of dark colors like coffee colored furniture and an almost black wooden floor.

There are enough openings for sunlight to illuminate the whole place during the day, and at nights, the yellow lamps drench the area in a golden-red blush.

Beverages served here is too good. I am a huge fan of cocktails and mock tails and love to experiment a lot with beverages and party drinks.

This restaurant  has always been serving innovative recipes brought to life with fresh, high quality ingredients and it now brings an exciting introductory offer presenting for this children’s day special. We are invited for a Mommy blogger meet up with our kids on Nov 13
th, 2015 around @2:30 p.m.

I and Deepa landed up at the schedules timings. Mr.Dharmesh Dave and their team members gave us a warm welcome. I should thank both California Pizza Kitchen and Avian Media for making this day very special to our kids this year.

Deepa’s kids and my kids really had a lovely time playing and spend lots of time in drawing and eating Pizza.
One of my friend informed me about the dishes  which tasted marvelous and left me looking forward to give an attempt to taste once.
They wanted kids to see how they make  Pizza from scratch. Kids were so excited with the open fire and wore their caps.

Kid’s pizza offer

The restaurant offered a special booklet with some drawings, puzzles, crossword and their own orders. Kids always like pizzas and pastas.

They don’t compromise their desires for anything. I have discussed with my kids and ordered according to their likes. After receiving their orders, all were busy in eating and drinking.

Each and every kid is different in taste and character. All 4 kids were enjoying their special day.

My Kids order:

Pizza (Forgot to take the pics)

Veggie Delight

Hawaiian BBQ chicken

Beverages

Strawberry Milkshake

Shirley Temple

So, from a vast list of pizzas served at California Pizza Kitchen,  they recommended some new type of thin crust which tastes awesome. It was a thin crust pizza with shredded chicken, peppers and with some other special ingredients.  The only words that came to my mind after having it was 'never tasted a pizza like this'. Just a perfect end to a brilliant meal

Our Order (Deepa and myself)

Salad and Pizza

Moroccan Chicken Salad

Thin Crust chicken Pizza (I forgot the exact name)

Beverages

Cucumber Cooler

Cranberry Mist (Exact name I forgot)

Last but not the least on the menu was the list of desserts served.

Actually my girl ordered Homemade Ice-cream and was compelling me to get it.I could not get her coz of her cold. Seriously the sweets and dessert version was really a boon to all the kids. Surely they will Love it and enjoy.

Their extensive menu offers a range of mouthwatering delicacies - from thin, crispy pizzas with fresh toppings to rich pastas and desserts .With its clean, sleek decor and impeachable service, CPK is the perfect place to grab a delicious, immensely satisfying meal.

Packed with oozing goodness and topped with the freshest ingredients, take a bite of authentic California-style pizza. But the service is fast, so even if you don’t reserve, you probably wouldn’t have to wait long.

Atte ke Ladoos (Godhumai maavu/ Wheat Flour Ladoos)–Diwali Sweets

Hope all are enjoying this Diwali season with sweets and snacks.Today I am going to introduce a healthy laddoo for growing kids. Always doing Chapatis or any other stuffed paratha is a routine in our daily basis. Try this Ladoo which is otherwise called as Gothumai Maavu Urundai.

Atte ke Ladoo are the easiest to make of all the ladoos. is an easy and tasty sweet ladoo recipe. These are quite popular in our house and are a must in Diwali sweets.Wheat flour is rich in calcium and vitamins which is very essential for kids and women. Having so many health benefits, these balls require very few ingredients and can be prepared within a few minutes. These balls are not soft like ladoos but have a powdery crumbling texture that melts in the mouth when you take a bite you can store these in clean airtight containers for days and serve when needed. So let’s get into the recipe and make some wonderful and yummy ladoos.
