Badam Milk is a very popular drink in India. A sip of this milk is always comforting. It’s a Delicious healthy yummy drink. Once day when I went to Big Bazaar, my kids had Badam Milk and started liking it.It is one of their favorite drink. So wanted to try at home and hence tried it right away and was very happy with the outcome. It tasted great and really great as a refreshing drink for sunny evening.

Method
1. First soak badam in hot water for 5 mins, peel the outer skin. Then soak saffron strands in warm milk for some time.(I did not soak for long as it was in the morning hours).Grind the soaked and peeled badam with little milk to smooth paste .Boil milk in a hard bottomed vessel, add almond paste and mix well and simmer it for few minutes or until milk becomes slightly thicker.
2. Then add in fried ghee and sugar mix well, boil till slight thick.Finally add in saffron milk and pinch of cardamom mix in will and boil for 1 min and switch off the flame mix in fried badam and serve. Garnish with chopped almonds and Serve hot or cold. Enjoy refreshing healthy drink.
