Bhindi Raita is a delicious yogurt based side dish. Bhindi is also called as "Okra".It is very easy to make and one of the few minutes wonders. Wash and let the bhindi dry. Chop the ends and and cut it into slices.Add 1 tsp. oil to nonstick pan and fry it in medium flame till its completely cooked but not mushy.2. Sprinkle salt when 3/4th done. Beat the curd with 1/2 cup of water until smooth. Add this to the okra and mix well. In the meantime grind coconut, green chili and cumin with a little water to a fine paste.
3. Heat oil, when got add mustard seeds. When it starts popping add the urad dal and fry till light golden brown.
4. Next comes asafetida, curry leaves, red chilly. Add this seasoning to the bhindi raita mixture and mix well.

Also You can Saute green chilli, cumin powder along with bhindi and add to the curd mixture.(Skip grinding version)
